Device Not Detected
- Try a different USB cable / port (use original cable if possible).
- Restart Ledger Live and your computer.
- Temporarily disable browser extensions that hook USB or web pages (ad blockers, privacy tools).
- On macOS, check System Preferences → Security & Privacy for blocked apps.
Ledger Live Connection Issues
- Ensure you downloaded Ledger Live only from
ledger.com/start. - Update Ledger Live to the latest version and reboot.
- Uninstall older Bridge or connectivity helpers if they conflict; reinstall from official source.
- Try another browser (Chrome/Brave recommended) if using browser-based flows.
Firmware & App Errors
If firmware update fails, do not enter recovery phrases — follow official Ledger support articles. If the device prompts for a recovery phrase at any point from a website — treat it as a scam.
Important: Ledger (and Ledger Live) will never ask you to type your 24-word recovery phrase into a website or app. Always verify official guidance at ledger.com/start.
